What is I-CCAP?

I-CCAP is both a model and an approach to working effectively with at-risk youth. The I-CCAP model integrates various aspects of youth development/youth case management practice into a pragmatic framework. I-CCAP provides a practical set of tools and skills that staff can use in working with both youth and family. The focus of I-CCAP is on supporting positive behavioral change. To foster positive youth outcomes, the I-CCAP approach combines elements of strengths-based programming with specific behavior change strategies. The approach is based on a thorough review of the latest research literature and is presented in easy-to-understand language.Read More
